Where the carbon is in the chemistry, not just the fuel

Cement & heavy manufacturing

Around 60% of a cement plant’s CO₂ comes from calcination itself — released by the limestone, not the fuel. Efficiency alone cannot reach a credible target, and CBAM now puts a price on what crosses the EU border. The reduction has to be engineered.
